Project Joy was launched in 2020 to help make the season bright for families in our community by alleviating some of the burden of the holiday season and fulfilling a wish list of essential items. While most holiday programs focus on younger children, Project Joy specifically seeks to respond to the unmet needs of older students and their families.

Thanks to the generosity of over 820 Greenville County donors, 420 students and nearly 200 families received essential items like clothing, school supplies and personal care items last year. From donor gifts to volunteer support, Project Joy contributed an estimated impact of more than $80,000 in our community.

Opportunities to connect with a local family will be announced in late October 2021, but you can give today to support the students and families served through Project Joy now.
